So, looks like no posts since last week’s football post. Oh well. Anyway, FSU beat lowly Duke (but didn’t score a TD until the second half) and play #2 BC next week, Nebraska lost at Texas after leading with five minutes left and has now dipped below .500 with #8 Kansas next, Minnesota lost to #20 Michigan which kept the Little Brown Jug in Ann Arbor, and TCU was idle and next plays New Mexico. The Vikings lost to the visiting Eagles yesterday and are now 2-5 - it’s come down now to the third-string QB Brooks Bollinger after starter Kelly Holcomb was injured (first-string Tavaris Jackson is out with a broken finger).
