I’ve flown more in the last two weeks than I have in the last five years. Last week, I had a work project in Denver on Monday; I left out of Austin at 8am after staying overnight with Giles & Jennifer in Austin. I got back to Waco late afternoon on Tuesday. Wednesday night we left out of Dallas to L.A. for Dad’s wedding over the weekend (pics to come). Sunday night we flew back into Dallas and got back to Waco at about 1am. I didnt sleep and got in the car at 3:30am for the 2-hour drive to the Austin airport for another project - an 6:30 flight to New Jersey. That project lasted well into the night. Then a 4:30am-wakeup for an early international flight to Calgary with layover in Minneapolis. That project lasted until 9pm - good thing cuz I needed the sleep with yet another pre-dawn wakeup for an 8am flight home… thru L.A. The same terminal, security lines, and gate as three days before! So I got home at about 8pm on Wednesday. Whew.
