Duty done
So after showing up at 9am this morning and waiting an hour and a half for a previous trial to finish, the judge told us before we even started jury selection that the witness from what would be our trial couldn’t be contacted. So rather than go thru the selection process and then wait til whenever the trial actually starts, he just excused us all and would select jurors from another set of summoned people later. The trial was going to be an attempted murder trial. Missing witness…?
