Juliet’s two weeks old today! This afternoon Laura’s taking her (and Brooks) to Juliet’s 2-week checkup. With the minor exception of two nights ago when Juliet must’ve had an upset tummy or something, everything couldn’t be going smoother! She’s eating a lot, sleeping pretty well (except it’s mostly during the day), and Brooks gets super-excited to tell people who come over that “we have a baby sister, ” jumping all around and yelling. Also, she went with Laura to drop off Brooks at school today and, as Laura put it, was “stormed” by Brooks’ classmates who wanted to see her. Of course, with her still so new, you gotta still play goalie at this point.

My buddy Eric scored a sweet deal to go to the AFC Championship game last week. Below is a photo from his seats. Nice!

Juliet is a week old today! Things are going great. She’s just eating and sleeping - no high volume yet (knock on wood). Brooks loves her and wants to hold her often. He giggles when she coos and goos.

We got home on Thursday but went back for a half-day on Friday cuz Laura had a headache that was related to her spinal, but other than that, it’s been smooth sailing! She’s eating a lot and sleeping a good bit. Finally, a chance to post some more pics…

Some emails have been circulating already, but, courtesy of Ali, here’s the first photo of Juliet ever posted to any website!

Juliet Elizabeth Indergard blessed us with her arrival this morning at 8:14 CDT. Seven pounds, 13 ounces, 19.5 inches long, dark hair (like Brooks did), and sweet. Mother and baby and big brother are doing fine. Photos to come, you can be sure!

T-minus 21 hours 21 minutes (til we go in, that is)…
