Although it can’t officially announced until Wednesday, it looks like controversial All-Pro WR Randy Moss is headed to Oakland, after seven rollercoaster years in Minnesota. Apparently, one of the reasons he’s leaving is he got frustrated with (soon to be former) owner Red McCombs’ unwillingness to spend the money for free agents while available. In return, it looks like the Vikings will get Oakland’s #7 overall pick in the draft and a linebacker. “That’s it?” some fans have said, and right now I tend to agree. Regardless of his attitude and extra antics, he produced on the field. He’s a great player and the Vikings should get a lot in exchange.
